The Sword, chapter IV: Age of the Tumulus 1500-1300 B.C.
Here comes the story of how sword production and sword fighting expanded in the Age of the Tumulus (Tumulus=burial mound) in Continental Europe, as well as in the Mediterranen. The Tumulus stage corresponds roughly to the Late Helladic IIB to the end of LH IIIA in the Aegean, and to the first half of the New Kingdom of Egypt.
The Bronze Age Sword Series includes six swords from this stage.
